Minotaur preview for 2014

I'm pretty excited to reveal the most recent addition to the Beast Face range; a minotaur to accompany the existing beasts, also sculpted by John Pickford:

And finally a scale shot against one of the other beasts:

This chap will go off for moulding in the New Year, but I thought you might like to see him! He stands an imposing 45mm to the top of his head (excluding horns), but has been designed to fit on a 30mm base if that's your preference.

Thanks to all of my customers for 2013, hope to see more of you in 2014!

Final Beast Painted!

That's right, nearly 15 months after this project started, all the 6 beasts are now painted - here's the other Blitzer variant:

I've now also updated the catalogue pages with full colour pictures!

Another evening painting, and these two beasts get to join their 3 team-mates!

Three painted beasts

The two previous painted figures have now been based and finished:

Three-armed Beastman (runner 2)

Brutal Beastman (lineman 2)
In addition, I can also show off the alternate ball-playing Beastman - this time with a lighter skin tone:

Beastman runner 1 - check out the natty loincloth!

Open for business!

That's right folks - I was originally going to wait until I'd painted the models before opening sales, but numerous people have been asking to buy the beasts.

So I can announce that we are now open for business. If you would like to place an order, feel free to get in touch at beastfaceminiatures@live.co.uk

First painted beasts!

I'm just in the process of finalising pack configurations and getting 6 sample figures painted up - I'm guessing a full release campaign in around a fortnight. In the meantime, here's a sneak preview of the colour scheme (these two chaps still need basing).

A three-armed thrower and a mean looking lineman!
I've also been speaking with ace sculptor John Pickford about the follow-up model to these beasts. It makes sense to have a complementary figure, so here's the concept work for something slightly bigger (but equally be-horned).

The minotaur should be in production by January 2014. Concept art by Roberto Cirillo.

What's this? Lots of little metal figures?

Hi Beast Face fans. I started this beastman project over a year ago I realised the other day. Well, it now looks like things can start moving, because look what I picked up on the way home yesterday:

That's right -  a box containing 300 figures - 50 copies of each of the 6 beastman variants. I will be re-launching and advertising the availability of the range in the next fortnight - I'm just waiting to receive painted versions of the figures to help with the advertising.

However....if you want to place an order, just drop me an email at beastfaceminiatures@live.co.uk

That's right - you can now buy these bad boys if you like the look of them! I look forward to hearing from you.

Thank you for waiting...

Sorry about the rather large delay between posts. There was somewhat of a scheduling hiccup following the master casting of the first 3 beasts, and the subsequent conversion of the 3 variants.

Thankfully I received notification yesterday evening that ace sculptor John Pickford has managed to find time in his schedule to complete the conversions...and here they are:

Three lovely new beasts - a three-armed runner/thrower type, an unhelmeted lineman, and a claw-endowed blitzer.

So, what's next? I should receive these in the next few days. I'll then pop to see Mouldmaker Pete and get them master cast. Then, we can start production. As soon as production casting starts, I can start selling!

Stay tuned!
